The Ballad of Billy Jo McKay

“It isn’t much of a stretch to imagine that the United States of America will die in a Wal-Mart parking lot as patient queues of passive onlookers wait for their turn to buy bread.”

Reminds me of a tune I listened to back in the undergrad years. Good song. There’s some foreshadowing in there. Seemed like a lyrical predictor.

I would have embedded it, but that feature was disabled due to copyright – bloody stupid.
