On My Status As a Domestic “Combatant”

The NDAA is what it is. See my earlier post regarding Mike’s comment and you get where I stand. Could not have said it better myself, so, I use someone’s blog post. What can I say? I’m lazy and I suck. That being said…

I kinda am beginning to think that the wind somehow just changed direction.

Imagine DotMil rolling into south Fulton County here in Atlanta and starting this. Imagine that fence slowly but surely marching north to the burb in which I currently reside. Not much of challenge for them. Control the physical access. Eine papierin herr Matson!

Yeah, no. Somebody would likely get lit up with that shit, and it wouldn’t be where they reside in force.

Remember your Sun Tzu:

You can be sure of succeeding in your attacks
if you only attack places which are undefended. You can
ensure the safety of your defense if you only hold
positions that cannot be attacked.

If you step back a bit, it sure looks like the light at the end of the tunnel is a train.

Appleseed this weekend

In lovely Toccoa, Ga. Weather is supposed to be a cloudy 85+. I’m looking forward to getting away from the slavish grind and the suburban compound for a night or two. Taking a neophyte with me. One of those actual country boy types who has never really learned to shoot his rifle. Hopefully he will walk away with a better sense of purpose.

Like I mentioned in a few tweets this weekend, I traveled extensively through the north Atlanta suburbs on the way to and from church. I saw TONS of empty space that someone is paying a note on. You know, the problem with all that cheap debt, is that eventually it gets expensive. At some point those rates are going to have to rise. The market can only sustain those for so long before something gives.

When that happens, which side of the fence will you be on?

Look for me up in Toccoa. I’ll be the one with the rifle.

Nice Weather you Have There

Yesterday was beautiful. Simply gorgeous. You could not have asked for a better first day of spring if you had had a word with God himself.

I took advantage and checked my zero. 3 to 6 inch groups at 400 yards. Pretty good and getting better all the time.

I planted my garden and some permaculture around my little suburban compound.

I spoke with my neighbors about the upcoming fight and asked them how prepared they were.

Today’s vote is an intolerable act. It might be the last one if the III% get their way…
