The Nexus of Tinfoil

People who really know me, believe I have lost it. Corporate execs and suburbanites. That’s the crowd I run with these days. Minivans & Infinities. As banal as it gets in middle America.

However, this did indeed catch my attention.

Thanks to CA for the referral.

I will point you to Gardenserf’s comment for some clarity:

Let’s jump to Sec 1031 first and then if anyone else wants to pore over the rest of the bill and can actually find something more ominous than this, then please post it here. In the meantime, I don’t see anything to hyperventilate about compared to some of the other bills affecting our food.

I’m with him on some of the food legislation as of late versus this. Though I have to admit that when I ran across the Green Mountain link initially, I threw up in my mouth a little. A long line of abuses. This would be just another step in that direction. How fitting to see it surfaced by the ACLU of all people over the Thanksgiving holiday. There is some kind of irony in there somewhere – I can smell it.

And on a side note…

I have mentioned this before. The rhetoric is getting warmer by the minute. It is only a matter of time before someone, somewhere does something that will be the spark. The Once Great Republic is a powder keg at this point. The ride to November 2012 is going to be interesting to say the least. Kinda like a monster roller coaster that just keeps clicking and clicking but never quite reaching the top. After November, when at least 50% of the country is pissed off, and they see that nothing really ever changes, that downhill run is going to off to a seriously exciting start.

The Bottomless Pit of Patriot Opinion

It’s akin to the Bottomless Pit of Statist Opinion. The two are close cousins, if not inbred brother and sister incest.

What is it exactly that we are doing? If we are doing something, what is the impact? Based upon the last twelve months, very little.

Are we the silent majority? Playing to our tribes under the radar, getting ready for the inevitable? Does that legendary silent majority even exist anymore? Was it ever a reality? I am inclined to say no. 53% of your fellow Americans willingly placed Barry into the executive seat. Voter fraud and eligibility aside, that’s a clear mandate from over half of the people in traffic with you this morning who consciously decided to move in the direction of tyranny – to thunderous applause I might add.

Again: What to do? What are we doing? Where are the solutions? Where are the disruptions? When are we going to get inside OPFOR’s decision cycle and make them react to us?

I think I have an answer. You aren’t going to like it, but here goes:

When it is too late…

Until we, as a loose connection of like minded people begin to act rather than yell still louder on the Internet, our cause will be the shadowy figure in the corner of the room. The crazy uncle that talks about UFO’s and how the mob shot Kennedy. Literally, that’s who and what we are.

It starts with talk and intent. It becomes real when you are taking steps to prepare yourself, and those around you. It’s not enough to mention over beers to your pals about how “shit’s about to get real yo”. It’s about acquiring skills, gear, training, then leading by example and passing it all along. It’s about serving others and affecting change. It’ about instilling culture and community that is resilient.

What are you doing to move the needle?

More proof that the sheep have no idea what is coming here in metro Atlanta.

SPLOST measures passed with a pretty good margin yesterday. These are not going to pay down debt, but only to increase it. You know, for the children and for education…

In this solidly Republican enclave, these fiscal and social conservatives voted for another increase in their tax infrastructure and proved yet again that they are willing to take from each other to move the needle that much further. This is also fairly good evidence to support that not matter how hard you wish and pray, we ain’t voting our way out of this.

This directly impacts the CW2 battlespace. If you think it doesn’t you are delusional.

Kinda Hard to Read

Which means, you probably should spend some time with it.

Zerogovs, Bill Buppert: The War is Coming Home

In the end, militias will be the only answer to defend ourselves from our own government.  I am not referring to the bloated and ill-kitted media darlings who populate the fever-dreams of the Southern Poverty Law Center and their Fusion Center clients in the Fatherland Security apparatus. I am referring to the growing band of malcontents in America who see the writing on the wall and are preparing for the collapse and coming endarkenment with Gold, Guns and Groceries (G3).  Not the conspiricists or the local redneck hunting club; these would be the former military veterans or shooting hobbyists or men who simply know their measure and consider metrosexuality to be a weakness.  These are men of the gun.  The disparaged men of Washington’s time who knew a stand-up fight in line sixty meters from their Redcoat opponents would not allow them to fight another day.

It’s amusing that as I age, I find the patriotic musings of my youth fall by the wayside and are replaced with a yearning and thirst for Liberty.
